Carver’s Attendance Challenge for April & May!
Beginning April 1st , Carver will begin a school-wide attendance challenge! We are close to the end of the year – there are only 43 days left of school!
Learning is very important, and can only happen when your student is here at school. According to No Child Left Behind legislation, our school is required to meet an average 95% daily attendance rate, or we will be penalized. Carver is struggling to meet that required attendance rate each month, so we are challenging our students to be at school every minute of every day until the end of the year. This can be difficult and we acknowledge that, but we know that our students are capable of meeting this goal!
We will be keeping track of all students’ daily attendance from the minute school starts until the minute school gets out…(see flier for more information)
We are looking forward to ending the school year with awesome attendance for all of our students!
