Carver’s PTO is hosting a “Muffins for Moms” event from 8:15 – 9:15 A.M. on May 15th. Moms, please join us for a muffin and juice/coffee after you drop your child off for the school day!

Carver Community School was the site of a Bike Rodeo on Saturday. DMPS teamed up with the Des Moines Bicycle Collective, Iowa Department of Transportation, Capital Park Neighborhood Association and VIVA East Bank to provide children with bicycles, helmets and locks. Students took part in a fun bike-training course, run by the League of American Bicycle Instructors, that taught them bike safety and handling skills. Click the photo to read and see more.
