Return to 100% Virtual learning for ALL Nov. 16 – 30!
REMINDER:
Due to continuing health concerns in Polk County, all DMPS students will move to Virtual (at home) learning beginning Monday, November 16th, through Monday, November 30th.
*Thanksgiving Break for all students is Nov. 25 – 27!*
For Carver students:
– your child’s current classroom teacher will not change.
– if your child is currently learning from home every day (Virtual learning), her/his schedule will stay the same.
–if your child is currently coming to Carver for school (Hybrid learning), your child will change to virtual learning (at-home learning) every school day (Monday – Friday) beginning on Monday, November 16th trough Monday, November 30.
What we need from you:
- On-line class will begin at 7:45 A.M. each day and end at 2:40 P.M. Students will have a break for lunch (grade level lunch times differ slightly). Depending on their afternoon schedule students may have art/music/p.e., meet in small groups, or work independently on assignments from their teacher.
- Find a quiet place for your child to learn; held her/him use headphones, if needed.
- Call the Carver office if your child will not be in class (242-8418).
How can we help?
- Message your child’s teacher on School CNXT with questions; s/he will give you more information about your child’s schedule.
- Call and make an appointment to visit the office if needed!
**Lunch will be served at Carver each day, M-F, 11:00A – 1:00P, from our back parking area (Fremont and E 7th St)!**
